STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE & SERVICE
- By purchasing products or engaging services from Onsite Tech Pty Ltd you agree to the following terms and conditions.
- Orders and Payment
- All orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed. Prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
- Onsite Tech Pty Ltd reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order where there has been an error in pricing, product information, or availability.
- For onsite services, payment is due at the completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in advance.
- Shipping
- Orders are dispatched via Australia Post Express within one business day of payment confirmation where stock is available.
- Delivery times may vary depending on location and Australia Post service conditions. Once dispatched, delivery is the responsibility of the carrier.
- Warranty
- All products sold by Onsite Tech Pty Ltd include a 12 month warranty unless otherwise stated.
- This warranty covers manufacturing defects and faults under normal use. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, liquid damage, unauthorised modifications, or normal wear and tear.
- Where a warranty claim is approved, we may repair, replace, or provide a refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
- Returns
- If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist.
- Products must be returned in accordance with our return instructions before a replacement, repair, or refund can be processed.
- Nothing in these terms excludes rights provided under Australian Consumer Law.
- Services
- Onsite Tech Pty Ltd provides onsite technical support, diagnosis, repairs, and related services for electronic devices and technology systems.
- Where parts are supplied or installed as part of a service, those parts are covered by the applicable product warranty.
- Device Repairs and Data Responsibility
- Electronic devices may contain important personal or business data. While all reasonable care is taken during diagnosis, repair, and servicing, Onsite Tech Pty Ltd is not responsible for any loss of data that may occur during the repair process.
- Customers are responsible for ensuring their data is backed up prior to any repair, service, or software work being performed.
- Certain repairs may require device resets, component replacement, software reinstallation, or other procedures that may result in the loss of existing data.
- Where devices are severely damaged or have underlying faults, customers acknowledge that repair attempts may not always be successful and may result in further device failure.
- By engaging Onsite Tech Pty Ltd to perform repair or technical services, the customer acknowledges and accepts these risks.
- Data Privacy During Repairs
- During the course of repairs or technical support, technicians may require temporary access to devices, accounts, or systems in order to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Onsite Tech Pty Ltd will only access information necessary to complete the requested service and will treat all customer information with strict confidentiality.
- Pre Existing Damage and Repair Risks
- Electronic devices may contain hidden faults or damage that are not visible during initial inspection. While all reasonable care is taken during diagnosis and repair, Onsite Tech Pty Ltd is not responsible for issues caused by pre existing damage, previous repairs, manufacturer defects, or device condition prior to service.
- Certain repairs, particularly those involving liquid damage, impact damage, or heavily worn devices, may carry an increased risk of further component failure during the repair process.
- Where additional faults are discovered during diagnosis or repair, customers will be advised before further work is carried out where possible.
- By authorising repair services, customers acknowledge that electronic device repair carries inherent risks and that some issues may not be fully repairable.
- Uncollected Devices
- Devices left with Onsite Tech Pty Ltd for diagnosis, repair, or assessment must be collected within 30 days of notification that the device is ready for collection or that a repair quote has been provided.
- If a device remains uncollected after this period, Onsite Tech Pty Ltd reserves the right to charge reasonable storage fees or, after reasonable attempts to contact the owner, dispose of or recycle the device to recover costs associated with storage and handling.
- Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Onsite Tech Pty Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of products or services supplied.
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights provided under Australian Consumer Law.
- Governing Law
- All purchases and services are governed by the laws of Australia.
